The club having had some success in recent years goes from strength to strength. League runners up 2 years ago followed most recently by a second place in the Scottish Triples and a third place in the Scottish veterans by the team of John Macallister, Tom Mackenzie. Mike Goldsmith and Jim Hiddleston. This was followed up with a quarter final in a tournament at Moffat by John, Jan Grieve and Steven Halley. On sunday 1st August the Club competed in the Quarter final of the Scottish Club competition against a strong team from Moffat and won 28 to 3. The Semi final and final will be played on 28th and 29th August with Penicuik playing the favourites Fochabers in the semi final.
