What is Alpha? It’s a practical exploration of the Christian faith that looks into the big questions we all ask. It’s informal and friendly, and appeals just as much to people who would describe themselves as agnostics or atheists as it does to folk who have been around a church for years.

There haven’t been any Alpha courses in Penicuik since before the start of the covid pandemic, but that is about to change. Starting on 11 May and running until 29 June, an eight-week series will be held in the Trinity Community Church Hall at the bottom of Kirkhill on Wednesday mornings (10a.m.-12 o’clock).
